About Us

Frölunda Torg Midwifery Clinic is part of area M4, which includes midwifery clinics in Gothenburg and surrounding municipalities.

The clinic is a pleasant facility located at Frölunda Torg with excellent transport links. It is one of the larger clinics in the city. We collaborate closely with the Family Center Frölunda/Trädet and family-centered work with Opaltorget Family Center. All our midwifery clinics are LGBTQ-certified, and we operate with quality assurance according to ISO.

We are a team that values good community and collegial cooperation to strengthen and support each other. The team consists of twelve midwives and two nursing assistants.

About the Job

As a midwife, you will work independently with reproductive and sexual health. Your duties include monitoring pregnancies, gynecological smear tests, contraceptive counseling, STI prevention work, and group parental support. You will also work with telephone counseling, digital healthcare meetings, and mentoring students. The work as a midwife is independent, while you have good support from experienced colleagues. You should feel comfortable conducting patient visits in English, as this may occur.

About You

We are looking for a licensed midwife with prescribing rights for contraceptives. We would like you to have experience working in a midwifery clinic. You should also have a professional attitude and a positive approach towards both patients and colleagues. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities such as flexibility and good collaboration skills.

Conditions

The position starts on May 1. The main placement is at the clinic in Västra Frölunda, but work may also take place at one of the area's other clinics.

Interviews are scheduled for January 21 and January 23.
